3. Keep your website up to date, make sure you are adding fresh interesting content regularly. 

4. Make sure your website is available for mobile users and has all the same options as can be seen on a laptop, or desktop.

5. Compress images to improve speed of the website, make sure you are using the best image file JPEG or PNG, each one compresses to a different size.

6. Link all your social media to your website, Facebook, instagram and share all your content here too to reach more people.

7. If you are focusing on a local area for your business you can get a Google My Business listing, this will ensure your business information is accurate and you can also get reviews to boost your local target audience. 

8. Use Google Analytics to review where you are going right or going wrong, keeping a close on on the traffic on your page means you can spot trends and see what people are responding to.

9. Your website needs to be fast and user friendly, Google watches how users engage with pages UX or user experience is important when you want to improve your ranking. 

10. The use of high quality backlinks from other sites is like a good reference to Google from another website about your website. The more quality backlinks you have the higher you may rank on the search engine results pages.
