And just before you get too excited! No i am not announcing my engagement! 😂

Instead I am going to give you some great tips to get people to engage with your blog, as you may already know the success of your blog is based on getting your visitors attention and maintaining it!

If you are like me and are new to the blogging game, I hope these pointers give you inspiration and motivation to create an amazing blog!

1. The Headline

You have probably heard of the saying first impressions are lasting, this can be said for your headline too because this is the first thing that is seen. If you come across a boring first headline you're going to pass it over you may not even know you're doing it. To grab the readers eye use trigger words like; free, who doesn't love free anything, proven, shows that the info you are providing is supported, secret, can spark wonder and  curiosity in the reader, instant, people don't have to wait the information or answers are right here. 

2. Your Audience

Make sure you know your audience, no point in putting all your efforts into a fab blog just to realise you have gotten your target audience all wrong. Try and see it from your readers point of view, focus on their needs and wants, what causes issues for them. For example, f you find an issue you could provide a solution that is relatable to the intended audience.

3. Content

The content needs to to snappy, no waffle, get to the point, provide important details. Use short paragraphs with quality content. Make it funny or informative or relatable so you readers will want to share it with everyone. Fail to prepare prepare to fail, quality content doesn't just appear you need to take the time to go look for it.

4. The Visual

Use pictures and videos to draw the eyes of the readers to your content, people may not be inclined to read reams and reams of text. Get your message across with visuals where and when you can.
