I'm coming to you today to have a chat about three online platforms that can be used for a new gym, a new clothing boutique and a cafe. There are many other businesses that can use online platforms but we're going to focus on these three for this blog.

We are all living in a new digital age, now companies successes will lie in their online presence. i know from my own personal experience I much prefer to do all my booking online, the though of picking up the phone to call and make an appointment or a booking will put me off. Just recently i needed to buy something that required paying over the phone but I've been so busy I haven't remembered to make the phone call, it has been three weeks since I decided I needed to do it, whereas if i could just pay online it would have been done and dusted and I would have my purchase by now. This is an example of how important an online platform is for a business. 

A New Gym

While researching the best platform for a new gym i came across Glofox, this allows the business to create apps for customers specific to the gyms brand, to manage their memberships and online payments. It also creates engagement with the gym as well as providing online booking for their members also via the app or the website. When the member arrives to the gym they can then check in through the app making it contactless. The platform will grow with the business from start up through to further expansion.

A New Clothing Boutique

A clothing boutique would benefit from using Adobe Commerce and Magento Open Source for ecommerce. This platform helps to process payments ,run reports, look at analytics, and track transactions. It allows the product and category information to be displayed quickly, gives the customer live search and product recommendations. 

A Cafe

 To build an ecommerce platform for a cafe I would recommend Wix, it offers many business solutions suited to this type of business. The cafe can can have all ordering systems on one dashboard, it can be set up to allow customers to make reservations if the cafe has seating areas and the menu can be displayed on this also for online orders. Payments can also be taken for the orders online and this is commission free saving money.

There are so many online platforms to choose from, it may take a bit of time for you to choose one that will suit your business and your brand but it will pay off.
